The Lounges The four lounge carriages constitute the most unusual and beautiful space on the train, and are true railway gems, boasting excellent external design, finishes and interior decoration. These are the common spaces of the train, where, throughout the last 28 years of its history, and the almost 100 years since it was built, many lifelong friendships have been forged, encouraged and inspired by this suggestive atmosphere. One of the four lounge carriages boasts a bar and dance floor. This is the pub carriage, which is decorated and lit like a small ballroom, where guests can enjoy their evenings on the train. Another of the lounge carriages has a second bar, where passengers can relax with a drink. The other two lounge carriages offer spaces to read, play board games with other passengers, chat and enjoy the landscape, thanks to the large windows.
